SANTO DOMINGO- Officials from the Real Estate Registry (RI) presented to the Executive Committee of the Dominican Association of Tourism and Real Estate Companies (ADETI) the innovations that the institution has implemented for the benefit of large users.
At the meeting, the general administrator of the Real Estate Registry, Jhonattan Toribio Frías, shared with those present the institutional transformation that the entity he heads has undergone and the new developments for large corporate users such as banks, the construction sector and tourism.
He highlighted the improvement in response times and the expansion of digital channels that his administration has implemented to strengthen the RI.
In the meeting, Toribio referred to the projects that the institution is carrying out in 2023, which, he explained, are based on strengthening the real estate system, citing the start of operations of two new service offices (Azua and National District); the pilot on the registry alert system, the expansion of digital signature and the expansion of the national geodetic network with the installation of new reference stations (CORS).
For their part, the national directors of the Registry of Titles and Cadastral Surveys, Ricardo Noboa and Ridomil Rojas, respectively, took advantage of their presentations to announce the new features of the regulatory update of Law 108-05 of Real Estate Registry and the implementation plan that the institution is currently carrying out.
Additionally, the membership was encouraged to participate in the working groups created at the last meeting of the Advisory Council, a space that will allow the identification of opportunities for improvement, the design of joint action plans and intersectoral collaboration, for the strengthening of the real estate sector.
