SANTO DOMINGO.-The National Directorates of Cadastral Surveys and Title Registration, branches of the Real Estate Registry (RI), announced the unification and standardization of the technical and registration processes presented before the aforementioned national directorates, which seek to facilitate the presentation of procedures and service requests to that agency.
The measure was announced through the technical provisions related to the regulatory update of Law No. 108-05 of the RI, which are part of the implementation plan of this regulation that comes into effect on November 10 of this year 2023.
According to a statement, the National Directorate of Title Registration updates the technical provisions of requirements for registration actions and receipt and delivery, and issues two new ones relating to registration publicity and access to information and documents of title registries and the unification of criteria.
"The technical provisions issued by the National Directorate of Cadastral Surveys seek to update the requirements and forms of presentation of technical actions in accordance with the new features included in the update of the regulatory framework of Law 108-05," the press release states.
It adds that guidelines are also established for the execution of parcel surveys and for cadastral appraisals that are presented before the land courts and the State attorney.
"An important aspect to highlight is that a document will be available that defines the structure and method of assigning cadastral designations handled by the regional offices of Cadastral Surveys," the document adds.
