SANTO DOMINGO.- Under the concept of utilizing renewable resources and minimizing the carbon footprint, the Association of Multiple Banks of the Dominican Republic (ABA) inaugurated its new facilities, located on the sixth floor of the Habitat Center corporate building.
The opening ceremony was led by the president of the ABA, Rosanna Ruiz, and was attended by the Superintendent of Banks, Alejandro Fernández W., presidents and senior executives of the banking entities associated with the ABA and special guests.
The president of the association, Rosanna Ruiz, thanked those present and expressed that “the doors of the ABA will always be open to all initiatives aimed at contributing to the development of the financial sector, the empowerment of financial users and all citizens, as well as the promotion of a more inclusive economy that positively influences the development of all society.”.
Father Alejandro Cabrera offered a prayer to bless the facilities and each of those present, who then toured the offices. The facilities prioritize the optimal use of space and energy efficiency through the use of natural light in the interior spaces, the association stated in a press release.

The Habitat Center corporate building
The new ABA offices are housed in Habitat Center Torre de Usos Múltiples (HCTUM), located on Winston Churchill Avenue at the corner of Paseo de los Locutores in the Piantini sector.
The building's design was the responsibility of architect Gustavo Luis Moré, who conceived the element of nature as fundamental to the building's image, enhancing it as an integral part of the interior spaces and as an aesthetically active element.
This real estate development is one of the first of its kind in the city of Santo Domingo, contemplating mixed corporate, commercial and business use, to provide a new quality of life to its users with an excellent location and first-class services.
