A few days ago, the World Travel Awards (WTA) announced the nominations for the awards they will present in 2022. Among all the categories, the 'Most romantic resorts in Mexico and Central America' stand out.
These awards are considered the Oscars of the tourism industry due to their immense prestige. Therefore, being among the nominees is highly significant. The competition has already opened its voting phase for the awards, which are typically presented in October.
In this category, a total of 10 hotels are competing for the award. Of these, 4 are in Mexico and the remaining six are located in Central American countries. Here they are.
