The house, with its magical view of the Antioquian mountains, has been an inspiration for the artist throughout his more than 35-year career.
Colombian singer-songwriter Juanes opens the doors of his home for one night so that two of his fans can see the space that has served as inspiration for every rhythm, harmony and lyric he has created in his more than 35 years of musical career.
An Airbnb statement explains that it is a sacred space for the artist, connecting him with his essence and his intimacy.
“I’ve never opened my home like this before. This is the most personal invitation I’ve ever extended to those who have supported me throughout my career and who are passionate about traveling and connecting with nature, so they can book one of my favorite places in the world on Airbnb,” the artist said.
The information on the platform, dated November 22nd, states that those who make a reservation will be able to see Antioquia through the eyes of Juanes, and stay in his home, which boasts a view surrounded by trees planted by the artist himself when he built it.
He explains that it is a retreat nestled in the mountains that will allow fans to be very close to the artist's career and that guests will be able to:
- Spending time on the terrace overlooking the green landscape and with the warmth of the fireplace
- Enjoying the living room with his piano and singing his songs
- Connect with Juanes through his literary tastes, browsing the books in one of his personal libraries
- Share a coffee to ward off the Antioquian cold at your kitchen counter or in the TV room
- Start the day by walking along the path that surrounds the house to connect with the lush nature of the mountains.
"At no cost to the stay, a person will be able to book this exclusive one-night stay on Airbnb for up to two guests from December 9 to 10, 2023," the publication states.
To reserve the space for one night, Juanes fans can access the platform on November 28th from 5 pm CET at airbnb.com/casadejuanes. Guests will be responsible for their own travel to and from the house in Envigado, Antioquia, Colombia. "This one-night stay is not a contest," Airbnb clarifies.
