The Dominican Republic is holding its second Tradeshow in Miami this Wednesday to boost tourist arrivals this summer

Today, Wednesday, April 3, at the JW Marriott Marquis in Miami, Florida, the Dominican Republic will hold its second Tradeshow to encourage foreign tourists to choose this country as their destination for this summer of 2024, an event in which more than 500 representatives linked to the sector are expected.

"Everything is ready for the second Dominican Republic Tradeshow in Miami, a meeting that brings together travel agencies, tour operators and airlines from the USA, Canada and Latin America to learn about and fall more in love with our destination," posted David Collado, Minister of Tourism, yesterday.

Collado said the country will shine in Miami. “This event has the highest number of international participants compared to any tourism fair we've attended worldwide,” the official stated.

He explained that once again they are crossing borders, innovating and working "with love for the constant growth of tourism in the Dominican Republic.".

Tradeshow

This is the second Dominican tourism promotion fair in Miami to boost the influx of tourists from the United States to the Caribbean nation by showcasing and promoting the Dominican tourism product specifically for the summer season.

According to the organizers, this year's fair will have a strong focus on targeting the US market, and representatives from hotels, tour operators, travel agencies, airports, airlines, and cruise lines that include the Dominican Republic in their itineraries will be present to showcase their products and unveil special summer packages.

“This edition will have a summer focus for the United States market. Hotels, tour operators, travel agencies, airports, airlines, and cruise lines from the Dominican Republic will be present to showcase their products and special summer packages. More than 200 tour operators will be in attendance,” the Ministry of Tourism recently announced when confirming the new edition of the Dominican Republic TradeShow.

The trade show will provide a platform for scheduling business meetings, presenting commercial offers, proposing pricing packages to potential clients, and fostering networking opportunities with key industry players. The participation of Dominican institutions involved in the sector, such as Asonahores and others, is also expected, adding depth to the event.

The first Tradeshow took place in April of last year, with the attendance of more than 600 representatives from the tourism industry in the United States, Canada and Latin America.
