SANTO DOMINGO- Students from the subjects of Logistics Management, Inventories, Airline Management and Air Transport, of the higher technical career in Aeronautical Administration, took a tour of the Las Américas International Airport, with the purpose of expanding the students' knowledge, observing the processes and departments of the cargo area, the airlines, as well as the different areas of this air terminal.
During the tour, the students were able to learn about the government facilities located at the airport, the boarding and disembarking management, the aircraft positions, as well as the ground assistance to aircraft and the companies that operate in the duty-free terminal.
The group was accompanied by teachers Elizabeth Sosa, Milvio Pérez, Elvio Carrasco, and Ramón Emilio, who, through explanations, were able to reinforce the theoretical approaches in the practical field, thus creating a comparative methodology that guarantees quality training for the country's future aeronautical administrators.
