SANTO DOMINGO.-With the aim of continuing to offer support in the training process of professionals related to the procedures carried out by the institution, the Real Estate Registry (RI) received at the facilities of the central headquarters a group of students of the subject real estate forensic practice, from the Pontifical Catholic University Madre y Maestra (PUCMM).
The students were guided by the user service manager, Adabelle Acosta Camilo, and the operations manager, Carlos Rondón Paula, as well as other representatives from different areas of the institution, who showed the students the technological innovations of the RI, such as: the virtual office for processes before the Title Registries and Directorate of Cadastral Surveys, as well as the mobile application (RiMóvil), from which requests can be made without the need to go to an office of the organization.
A press release indicates that during the tour, the students visited the Court of Original Jurisdiction (COT) and learned about the process in the Document Reception Unit (DRU); they visited the courtroom and the file sample room, guided by Magistrate Alicia Campos.
In addition, they were given guidance on the available channels for submitting a request to the institution, and the procedure required to obtain the final product, the process in the Unit for Consultation and Reception of Registry and Cadastral Files; the digitization, printing and custody of documents; as well as what is related to the review of plans and documentation related to the Directorate of Cadastral Surveys.
Speaking on behalf of the students, Janeyra Moronta said: “I found it very interesting to learn about the internal processes carried out at the institution to obtain the final product, since I am a frequent user and it is necessary to know these details to understand the level of rigor established in each area through which a file passes.”.
The tour concluded with a visit to the review department of the National Directorate of Cadastral Surveys, learning about the innovations in the systems they use to evaluate the processes in that area.
