In a virtual format and aimed at Dominicans residing in New York, the Real Estate Registry (RI) gave a workshop on the actions of the institution, the services it offers and its importance as an entity of legal security in the country.
The workshop offered by the national director of Title Registration, Indhira del Rosario Luna; and the registrar of titles of San Cristóbal, Kenny Carolina Marte Castillo, was attended by lawyers, departmental managers and vice consuls.
They were given an explanation, among other things, of the institutional framework of the Dominican real estate system, the functions of the Real Estate Registry, the national directorates that make up the institution and their roles, as well as the formalities of the documents of the registration actions.
A press release highlights that attendees were also informed about fundamental registration principles for the correct implementation of files such as application, priority, specialty, public faith of the registry and publicity, as well as the qualifying function of the registrars, their scope of application and powers.
The press release adds that the consultation and appearance service was also presented, which allows users to make appointments with title registrars without having to go to one of the institution's 26 offices in the country; the virtual offices for Title Registration and Cadastral Surveys; from which requests from both national directorates are managed; the RIMóvil application, available in the App Store and Google Play, as well as the consultation of products; online assistance, among others.
The workshop was conducted virtually and was organized by the Dominican Consulate General in New York City, through Tamiris García, Director of Human Resources; Manuel Félix, Director of Education; Eridenia Lora, lawyer from the Legal Department; and Eustaquia Sánchez, Director of the Legal Department.
