SANTO DOMINGO- In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, the Real Estate Registry (RI) illuminated the facade of its main headquarters, located on Avenida Independencia at the corner of Jiménez Moya, in pink, in support of the actions being carried out this month to raise awareness about this disease.
In addition to this action, internally, the institution has implemented throughout the month the educational campaign "Remember, the key is to detect on time", which aims to promote among employees, periodic check-ups and the importance of timely diagnosis.
Through digital and audiovisual pieces from collaborators of the institution who are cancer survivors, the RI has managed to expand the campaign among all the people who work in the institution nationwide.
“For the Property Registry, its employees are the most important thing; in that sense, we have joined the initiatives of the month of October so that our staff remembers that this is not a disease only of women, that breast cancer can also affect us men,” said the general administrator of the RI, engineer Jhonattan Toribio Frías.
