SANTO DOMINGO– The Real Estate Registry (RI) says that 2022 was a year of great achievements for its plans and services, while affirming that it will continue working to offer users an experience that exceeds expectations.
The government agency reviewed the past year, citing the seven main achievements of its work plan, highlighting the time reduction achieved by several of its departments.
As a first point, the RI mentions the update of the virtual office for cadastral surveys, a measure which, it says, reduced the time of depositing a file by 20%.
Additionally, credit card payments are now accepted for cadastral procedures. "You can now pay your fees directly through our website when you request your procedures," the agency stated.
Similarly, the RI (Real Estate Registry) cites among its 2022 achievements the expansion of its public document consultation service. "You can now consult your documents through the portal without having to travel to a Real Estate Registry office," it explains.
Another achievement mentioned by the government entity is the updating of the regulations of Law 108-05 of RI, whose regulatory framework, the entity assures, strengthens confidence for investment, protects rights and enhances development opportunities.
Also during 2022, he cites among his achievements having received an honorable mention in the X edition of the Inter-American Award for innovation in effective public management, with the digital real estate registry project.
Finally, he talks about the celebration of the first meeting in the country of the Ibero-American Registry Cooperation Network (IBEROREG).
