In Kentucky, one of the worst affected states and home to the town of Mayfield, with most of its buildings practically destroyed by a tornado, more than 92,000 people are without electricity.

Nearly 400,000 homes have been left without power in areas of the eastern United States that were affected by multiple tornadoes in the last few hours.
According to the specialized website Poweroutage, the two most affected states are Michigan and Tennessee, with more than 175,000 people without electricity in the former and 144,000 in the latter.
In Kentucky, one of the worst affected states and home to the town of Mayfield, with most of its buildings practically destroyed by a tornado, more than 92,000 people are without electricity.
There are also power outages in 75,000 homes in Indiana, 35,000 in Ohio, and 13,000 in Illinois.
In this latter state, a collapse occurred on Friday night in an Amazon warehouse, with at least two deaths.
There are also more than 21,000 people without power in Arkansas. In that state, the tornado struck a nursing home, killing one of its residents.
