Members of the Central Electoral Board (JCE) visit the Real Estate Registry to learn about the technological advancements of that entity

SANTO DOMINGO.– Officials from the Real Estate Registry (RI) presented to the plenary of the Central Electoral Board (JCE) the digital transformation process that has been carried out in that entity, in relation to the document and archive management that has been carried out to strengthen its services.

 Jhonattan Toribio Frías, general manager of RI, gave an account to the representatives of the electoral body, about the implementation of the project of recovery and massive digitization of the archives, indicating that it has been one of the most relevant processes within the transformation process, where, he said, the paradigm of using physical documents for transactions was changed to digital access for internal and external users.

During the visit, the JCE delegation toured the RI facilities to learn about the process of consultations, digitization, printing and custody of documents in order to replicate the institution's good practices, particularly regarding the Civil Registry.

 Representing the RI, in addition to the general administrator, were the director of the Registry of Titles, Ricardo Noboa; the director of Cadastral Surveys, Ridomil Rojas; the sub-administrator of management, Verónica Ogando; the sub-administrator of Information and Communication Technologies, Virginia Alejo; the user service manager, Adabelle Acosta; the operations manager, Michael Campusano; and the general coordinator of communications and public affairs of the Judiciary, Javier Cabreja.

Representing the Central Electoral Board were the full members, Rafael Armando Vallejo and Patricia Lorenzo Paniagua, the deputy director of the Central Civil Registry Office, Juan Karlos Saladín, Marie France Balasse, consultant and the project manager, Carolin Sánchez, among others.
