“Family is like a marriage vow, in good times and bad, in sickness and in health.”.
SANTO DOMINGO – Leonel, Luis Miguel, and Alex share the workplace at Hogarium Real Estate. They represent 50% of the agency's sales staff, and although two are brothers, the three treat each other with the same respect and trust; their family oath is strictly adhered to without exception.
“We’ve always said, ‘Family is Family,’ meaning that family is above any kind of friendship, social, or business relationship. In other words, in our real estate agency, our family means everything.”.

In their case, they say, having so much trust in each other makes it very easy to switch from work to family and vice versa, without affecting the quality of life and the moments we have to go through.
They point out that real estate is a demanding business, "that is, 24/7, so it goes from being a job to a lifestyle in which the appropriate limits and filters must be put in place, so as not to disrupt the family dynamic.".
They establish that after certain hours and specific moments it is necessary to attend to situations that by their nature cannot be postponed.
Completely dedicated to the project, this trio has been navigating the real estate world together for three years. Luis Miguel and Alex have been involved in the market for seven years, and Leonel for three.
Working under the same vision and purpose is the advantage of working as a family. But also, because “one person’s success is everyone’s success, one person’s enjoyment is another’s enjoyment, and one person’s mistake is everyone’s learning experience,” say these young entrepreneurs.
“A boxer cannot achieve effectiveness with his punches if his hands are open, since his fingers are spread and the blow is weaker. The boxer brings his fingers together and closes his fist, and that same hand with spread fingers now becomes a fist capable of knocking down the strongest man. Therefore, families today must first base their values and principles on God, and one of those principles is unity,” an illustration they use to urge families in crisis situations to stay united.

They understand that when families are united 1+1=3. “Family is like a marriage vow, in good times and bad, in sickness and in health.
"Stay united and always seek to put God at the center of everything," the three real estate agents conclude, reflecting on the matter.
