SANTO DOMINGO- Instant payments will not be possible between 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. next Saturday, April 9, the Central Bank (BCRD) announced this Thursday.
This is because SUIF, the corporation that operates the flow of payments in the country, will be carrying out "a business continuity exercise on its platform," the agency announced in a notice.
The instant payment service will be available again on Sunday, at its hani time, which is from 7:00 a.m.
"We apologize for any inconvenience this situation may cause and we ask for your understanding, taking into account that this is a measure to guarantee the quality of this service," the Central Bank explained.
