Las Vegas, Nevada. The Dominican Republic reaffirmed its position as one of the most attractive destinations in the Caribbean for the meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions (MICE) segment with its outstanding participation in IMEX America 2025, held at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.
At this fair, the most important in the meetings industry of the Americas, the country participated with a striking and colorful national pavilion that brought together 30 strategic allies, including hotels, airlines, DMCs, attractions and industry associations.
These stakeholders showcased the diversity, quality, and capacity of the Dominican Republic's offerings to host large-scale international events, reflecting the strength of the national tourism industry and its commitment to excellence in the meetings and incentive travel segment, according to a press release from the Ministry of Tourism.
He explains that the Dominican pavilion established itself as one of the most visited at the event, thanks to a vibrant program of cultural and experiential activities that offered attendees an authentic immersion in the Caribbean spirit.
During the three days of the fair, the Dominican stand attracted hundreds of buyers and industry professionals, who learned firsthand about the country's evolution as a MICE destination, highlighting its modern hotel infrastructure, the expansion of air connectivity thanks to Arajet Airlines, and the opening of new luxury hotels and new offerings in Miches, Santo Domingo and Santiago.
The Dominican Folkloric Ballet filled the venue with energy, rhythm, and color, captivating the audience with their performances, while the gastronomic tastings delighted visitors with an exquisite selection of dishes and cocktails inspired by the Caribbean paradise, reflecting the flavor, joy, and warmth that distinguish the Dominican Republic.
In addition to business meetings, the Dominican delegation actively participated in educational sessions and networking events , including SITE Nite and meetings with international associations, thus strengthening opportunities for collaboration with the North American market.

Among the exhibitors participating in the Dominican pavilion were Casa de Campo Resorts & Villas, EITI DMC, Connect Travel Services, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana, The Palace Company, Otium International, Amstar DMC, Coco Bongo Punta Cana, and Hyatt Zilara & Ziva Cap Cana. Also present were Arajet Airlines, Dominicana & Partners DMC, Puntacana Resorts, Zemi Miches, MICE Spots DMC, Dreams & Secrets La Romana, and Barceló Bávaro Grand Resort.

The 2024 edition achieved record results with 5,758 international buyers, 85,000 scheduled meetings, and 15,873 participants. This new edition was developed with the expectation of surpassing these figures, further consolidating IMEX America as the leading global platform for MICE tourism.
