In Buenos Aires, Argentina, a delegation from the Judiciary participated in the II National Congress on current registry issues, seeking to delve deeper into the different branches of this activity.
The Dominican delegation was headed by magistrates Alejandro Anselmo Bello Ferreras, judge of the Third Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice, and Modesto Antonio Martínez Mejía, judge member of the Council of the Judiciary.
During the event, Nathalie Rivera, a title registrar, shared a conference with the attendees in which she spoke about the "Modernization of the Dominican Real Estate Registry," presenting the innovations and the transformation process it has undergone and the expansion of digital services and channels.
Similarly, the executive presented to the audience the pilot program on the registry alert system, the expansion of the digital signature, the expansion of the national geodetic network, as well as the new developments resulting from the regulatory update of Law 108-05 on Real Estate Registry.
“The Real Estate Registry has implemented and continues to develop a management model that has transformed not only the technological level, but also the institutional level of the service model provided to our users, with the aim of safeguarding real estate rights and thus providing greater legal security,” Rivera stated.
The Second National Congress on current registry issues took place over 4 days and covered a national and international projection of registry activity, and was a scenario for practices and contributions of ideas on institutional advances in registry law.
The event was organized by the Federal Council of Argentine Notaries/Faculty of Law of the Catholic University of Argentina (UCA).
