SANTO DOMINGO.– The United States, Mexico, Colombia, Dubai, China, and Panama are the countries that will be present at the 2023 Consxtruexpo, where organizers project the participation of more than 60 national and foreign companies and public institutions.
The Dominican construction exhibition and business platform will take place from the 19th to the 21st of this month at the Dominican Fiesta Hotel Convention Center, with the general organization of the firm José Veras y Asociados.
At a press conference held at the Barceló Hotel, the company's president, José Veras, announced that the exhibition will feature participants from the United States, Mexico, Colombia, Dubai, China, and the Dominican Republic. Veras specified that 15 foreign companies will be participating.
He opined that Construexpo has become the main channel for presenting innovation for engineers, architects and related professionals, in which a wide range of products and the most modern in the industry are presented.
“We show construction professionals the latest technology available in the construction sector. There will always be new things in the sector to minimize costs,” Veras explained.
He explained that the program to be launched at the event includes on Friday the 19th the conference on “Reduction in construction costs and mitigation of liquefaction”, given by Ángel Conde, Area Director in Latin America of Tensar, who has more than 20 years of experience in the area of geosynthetics.
At 11:30 a.m. that same day, the conference “Victaulic Underground Solutions” will be offered by Roberto García, Commercial Director, and Julio Herrera, Regional Manager of Victaulic, with sponsorship from the Lehman company.
The conference “Applications of steel sheet piles in road and port works” is scheduled for Saturday the 20th, with the participation of engineer Paulo Sergio López, director of Engineering and Business Development of Mexico, which will be sponsored by the American company JD Fields.
