SANTO DOMINGO.- The Dominican College of Engineers, Architects and Surveyors (CODIA) signed an inter-institutional agreement with the College of Architects of Mexico, which seeks to bring the institutions closer together, to strengthen continuing education and professional ties between both countries.
The agreement was signed by Carlos Mendoza, Secretary General of CODIA, and architect Rodolfo Sánchez Zaragoza, President of the Mexican guild, at the facilities of the Dominican organization, located in the Colonial City.
The signing was attended by members of the Board of Directors: Alejandro García, Surelis Calderón, Yrene López San Pablo and Geovanny Lorenzo; as well as Luis Manuel Ventura, George Richardson, Hipólito Gómez and Antonely García.
The event was attended by other members such as Esther Morillo, former president of CODIA, Mayobanex Suazo, director of Urban Planning of the National District City Hall; Gerardo Márquez Garza, Mario Zamudio Ramírez, José Martín Gómez Tagle, Francesco Gravina, Lucyris Mateo, Elmer González, Dominic Abud, Johanny Cabrera Acevedo and Erminia Decena, belonging to various organizations linked to the organization.
