The Cibao Savings and Loan Association announced its participation in the Expo Cibao 2024 multisectoral fair, which will take place from October 2nd to 6th in the Central Park of Santiago.
In line with this year's fair theme, "Building a better country together," the Association will offer a diverse program of activities aimed at different audiences. The focus of these activities includes promoting mental health and environmental awareness, key issues for the well-being of society.
The program of activities begins on Thursday, October 3, with a conference on personal and business cybersecurity, entitled "Cybersecurity: the 7 pillars for information security," led by Harry Peralta, CEO of Harper; in the Conference Room of Central Park from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm, and will be broadcast live through the financial institution's social networks.
That same day, at 5:30 pm, the executive president of Asociación Cibao, José Luis Ventura, will participate in the panel "Building a better country together: a social, economic and environmental vision", at the Rooftop of Parque Central, a scenario that promises to generate valuable reflections on the challenges and opportunities for building a fairer and more sustainable society.
On Friday, October 4th, the Association will host a live evening event on social media, titled "Healthy Mind: Conversations for Mental Well-being," with Dr. Zoilo García. The event will be broadcast from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm and is aimed at promoting mental health awareness, a crucial issue in today's society.
Finally, on Saturday, October 5th, the traditional children's financial literacy workshop will take place at 10:30 am, featuring a storytelling session with sign language interpretation. This activity will be recorded for later broadcast on YouTube.
Throughout the fair, various entertainment and awareness activities will also be carried out from their module by the Corporate Volunteering team.
In this edition, the Association - as a gold sponsor - consolidates its presence as a benchmark for social responsibility and support for the region's economic growth.
