Carlos Rentalo, a strategic consultant for real estate companies, was one of the most anticipated speakers at the X Latin American Real Estate Congress CILA–AEI 2025, held last week in the tourist destination of Punta Cana, where the coach presented his talk entitled “The new real estate code: how to grow x10 in a difficult real estate market”.
During his presentation to the large group of representatives from 18 countries who attended the meeting, the real estate mentor delivered a powerful message about the direction of the industry: “The time for opportunists is over. The future belongs to those who work with quality, ethics, and vision.
Through a post on his Instagram account, the expert expressed his excitement about sharing the stage at the Hard Rock Punta Cana before more than 400 real estate agents from 18 countries: “I was really looking forward to getting on stage in Punta Cana. I had already done it in Santo Domingo and Santiago, but everything comes in its own time. This time it was at the Hard Rock Punta Cana, in front of 400 real estate agents from 18 countries at the CILA AEI 2025 Congress.
In his speech, Rentalo shared what he called his “manifesto for a better life,” inviting industry professionals to lead the transformation through specialization, partnerships, data analytics, and the power of referrals. For him, a real estate agent's success goes far beyond the numbers.
“Because an agent can have everything: clients, sales, recognition, and still feel empty. An agent’s life isn’t measured in closed deals. It’s measured in knowing which battles are worth fighting and when it’s time to sharpen the axe.”.
The real estate marketing specialist also emphasized the importance of choosing wisely where to invest time and energy: “Not every client deserves your time. Not every battle deserves your energy. Choose wisely where you spend your time. Where you put your enthusiasm. Where you put your heart. Stop giving your life away to those who don't respect you,” he concluded.
One of the most moving moments of his presentation came when he spoke about legacy, with his son present in the room: “And while I was talking about legacy, my son Leo was in the auditorium. That is the real reason. We work to leave a mark. To be remembered by our children and by those who come after us, to continue defending this wonderful profession that we love so much.
With this message, Carlos Rentalo reaffirmed that the future of the real estate market does not depend on shortcuts or improvisations, but on the commitment to ethics, quality and the vision of those who practice the profession with true passion.
