New real estate rooms will be built in Cap Cana

PUNTA CANA- Cap Cana announced at a welcome event for new owners the exponential growth that the destination city has experienced during the last 18 months.
He highlighted that more than 1,200 residential units are currently under construction. Furthermore, with the delivery of infrastructure on new lots, approximately 3,036 more units will be built by third-party buyers who have placed their trust in Cap Cana for the development of villas and apartments, representing a $400 million investment in construction for the country.
Jorge Subero Medina, CEO of Cap Cana, emphasized what these new developments mean for the country's economy with the creation of new jobs, as well as a direct contribution to national builders and suppliers.
He expressed his gratitude for the trust shown by real estate developers who have maintained their loyalty by contributing to the growth of the destination city, as well as those who are starting several of these new projects that are an important part of the current exponential boom in the sector.
Over the weekend, Cap Cana held an Open House for new homeowners, where they could learn about all the services and amenities the city offers its residents. This event was supported by financing options from BDI, Banco Caribe, Banco Santa Cruz, Banco de Reservas, Banesco, and BHD León.
Subero Medina added that real estate tourism is strengthening, and noted that the city continues to focus on the development of exclusive residential and tourist projects, with standards of quality, prestige and sustainability.
The entity revealed that although 2020 was a difficult year for the country and the world, the tourism real estate sector experienced a great boom in interest from investors, families and entrepreneurs who decided to buy housing projects in the destination city, and that this trend continues to rise.
He also mentioned two major hotel projects that have contributed to the city's recent growth: the MargaritaVille, which recently opened to guests, and the Saint Regis, expected to open its doors in 2023.
The residential projects under development are located in the Las Iguanas Golf Residences, Green Village and Ciudad Las Canas sectors.
Prior to the pandemic, Cap Cana had more than 5,300 residential and hotel rooms built.
