In February, the Dominican business group Bluewave Group plans to begin construction of the DoubleTree by Hilton hotel in Punta Cana, following the announcement of an agreement with Hilton, a leading global hotel company. The information was released yesterday on the second day of the International Tourism Fair (Fitur 2024).
The project's development integrates a partnership with the Downtown Punta Cana group, with the aim of raising the standard of the hotel experience in this eastern city, offering travelers 120 rooms, a full-service restaurant, and modern conference and meeting facilities.
Bluewave Group CEO Jordan Estévez expressed his enthusiasm for the initiative.
“We are thrilled to embark on this journey with Hilton to bring the DoubleTree by Hilton Punta Cana Downtown to life. This project is a testament to our commitment to providing exceptional experiences and continuing to invest in tourism in the Dominican Republic. Hilton's Vice President of Development for the Caribbean and Latin America, Pablo Maturana, stated that they share the satisfaction of announcing the agreement with Blueware Group, "which brings us closer to our plan to triple our portfolio in the Dominican Republic in the next five years.".
