SANTO DOMINGO – Banco Popular Dominicano was awarded prizes by the financial publications The Banker and Euromoney, two prestigious international financial magazines, highlighting the bank's financial strength, its leading position in digital banking, and its provision of financial services to key market segments of the economy.
Specifically, Banco Popular continued its rise in The Banker magazine's ranking of the "1,000 Best Banks in the World", placing 730th in 2024, advancing nine places from the 739th position it occupied in 2023.

Digital leadership and support for SMEs
The financial magazine Euromoney, in its Excellence Awards, awarded Banco Popular the prizes for "Best Digital Bank" and "Best Bank for SMEs" in the Dominican Republic, distinctions that reflect the bank's commitment to the digitization of financial services in the country and its support for small and medium-sized enterprises, as fundamental units in the country's business fabric.
In its assessment, Euromoney highlighted the robust growth that Dominican banks have been experiencing, in both the public and private sectors.
