The bank announced that it will have more than 5,000 units, with mortgage financing for Dominicans residing in this and other cities in the United States, with offers for the acquisition of social interest housing, high-end housing and tourist areas in the Dominican Republic.
In a press release, BHB details that some of the benefits of the BHD NY real estate fair include financing terms of up to 20 years, with a maximum of 80% of the lower value between the sales contract or the property appraisal, discounts on legal fees, free appraisals, legal advice, among others.

Meeting this need is what motivated us to return to New York with our BHD Real Estate Fair.”.
In addition to mortgage loans, the fair will offer information on other Banco BHD products and services, such as remittances through the Flexienvíos platform and mobile accounts. Financial literacy workshops will also be held daily, covering topics such as preparing to buy a home and tips for maximizing remittances, among others.
“In 2013 and 2014, we were in New York providing banking services and information to our compatriots. Now, in 2023, we are returning and inviting the Dominican diaspora residing in this and other cities in the United States to visit this unique space where they will find support from our staff to expedite and facilitate information for obtaining home financing in the shortest possible time,” explained Julián Alcántara, Second Vice President of Network and Indirect Business for Mortgage Banking at Banco BHD.
He adds that the purpose is for customers residing in New York to experience the joy of having their own home in the land where they were born.
