The Popular Association of Savings and Loans (APAP) received the Excellence in Cleaner Production awardfor its "APAP Eco-efficient" Environmental Management System at the sixth edition of the National Cleaner Production Award.
They were also recognized for the successful implementation of the Solar Cell project in the entity's Branches and Business Building.
“We accept this recognition from the Ministry of Environment and the National Council for Climate Change and Clean Development Mechanismas a commitment to continue strengthening the country's sustainable culture through the continuous improvement of our processes and infrastructure,” said Gustavo Ariza, executive vice president of APAP.
