In Cap Cana, La Altagracia province, President Luis Abinader yesterday inaugurated the 7 Mares tower, a new real estate development project that took into account the sustainable model to
reduce its impact on the environment, according to its developer, Mariano Sanz Lovatón.
“7 Mares at Cap Cana” represents an example of innovative and environmentally conscious design. “It is a space where elegance and luxury meet sustainability,” explained the CEO of Aides Real Estate and the main partner in the project.
Sanz thanked his partners, Cap Cana, the Hazoury family, the tower's owners, and everyone who contributed directly or indirectly to the project. He highlighted that 7 Mares has clients from nearly nine different nationalities, reaffirming the
importance of real estate tourism today.

For his part, Abinader expressed that here in Cap Cana, as in the entire tourism sector, the best is yet to come and assured that the government will continue to support this development because it believes that it is the only way to make a country progress.
Fernando Hazoury, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Cap Cana Group, stated that the inauguration of the project is a demonstration of perseverance and confidence and congratulated President Abinader for identifying public-private partnerships as the key to the development and growth of tourism.
The executive highlighted that the 7 Mares tower will diversify the offering of more than 7,000 hotel rooms and real estate existing in Cap Cana.
He said the project is the first "of many others" planned for the destination city, in order to attract foreign residents with greater purchasing power than the traditional niche attracted by real estate tourism, as well as generating a greater economic boost for other sectors linked to its value chain.
The homes are designed for young families, remote workers, and retirees, Hazoury explained, adding that legal certainty, transparency, and the speed with which projects are processed are making the investment climate increasingly favorable.
He emphasized their continued commitment to both the Destination City and the entire Dominican Republic. "As I have mentioned on other occasions, our country currently offers a favorable climate for national and international private investment, guaranteeing legal security, transparency, and the speed of investment processes, prioritizing 100% of private sector investments that generate wealth and create good jobs for all Dominicans," he stated
The work
Located 800 meters from Juanillo Beach, it features 65 residential units. It is the first 16-story tower built in the entire eastern region of the country, and it was conceived with a clear commitment to sustainability, as its design and engineering incorporate many elements intended to minimize its environmental impact.
The residential units range from 114.25 to 130 square meters, in addition to seven luxury penthouses, of about 1,110 square meters.
"This new real estate development represents a significant milestone for the Cap Cana, Punta Cana, Bávaro, and surrounding tourist areas, as it is the first of several planned projects. It boasts spectacular views of the Caribbean Sea, is close to the Las Iguanas golf course (currently under construction), and other impressive areas of this destination city," a press release highlights.
The construction of the tower was carried out by the firm Logroval, who also participate as partners in its promotion, along with other international investors and their main leader, Mariano Sanz.
Those present at the event included the President of the Chamber of Deputies, Alfredo Pacheco; the Administrative Minister of the Presidency, Igor Rodríguez; the Director General of Customs, Eduardo Sanz Lovatón; the Administrator of the Banco de Reservas, Samuel Pereyra; the Governor of La Altagracia Province, Martina Pepén; Senator Virgilio Cedano; the Director General of the National Cadastre, Héctor Pérez Mirambeaux; the Mayor of Higüey, Rafael Duluc; the owners of 7 Mares, Alejandro Logroño and Eduardo Valdez; and the Founding President of Cap Cana, Ricardo Hazoury.
