Puerto Plata, where tourism has recently experienced a resurgence, will be the setting for the fourth edition of Expo Construcción Puerto Plata 2024, a business event focused on showcasing the equipment and heavy machinery that underpin construction projects in the country.
Aneury Pilar, the fair's organizer, explained to El Inmobiliariothat the exhibition will take place at the Blue Jacktar Convention Center, one of the pioneering hotel establishments in the "Bride of the Atlantic," located in Playa Dorada.
“We want to highlight the sustained growth that this trade meeting has had, which has moved to a larger space, due to the demand from companies and people interested in the latest trends in this booming economic sector,” Pilar stated.
He said that the meeting will feature the participation of the most important heavy machinery distributor brands in the country, and is dedicated this time to engineer Rafael Silverio Galán (Kuky).
It will take place from April 12th to 14th, with the opening ceremony at 7:00 PM on the first day. On Saturday the 13th, it will be open to the public from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and on the last day from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Pilar explained that the event is shaping up to be one of the most important in this sector in the Dominican Republic, with its motto for this edition being "Capital of heavy equipment and machinery".
He reported that Expo Construcción Puerto Plata, in addition to being an ideal setting to present the most innovative product and service proposals, provides training through conferences and workshops to participants and professionals who also attend to network.
“Our grand opening will be on Friday the 12th, dedicated to Kuky Silverio for his 40-year professional career. We will also give special recognition to the Minister of Public Works and Communications, Deligne Ascención Burgos, and that same evening, our guest brands will give an introduction to what they will be presenting in detail in a MasterClass that we will offer on Saturday the 13th,” he said.
Regarding the training day, he indicated that it will feature presentations from Autozama (Mercedes Benz, Sany), Teselta (John Deere, Genie), Imca (CAT), Tecnimetro (Zoomlion), Reidco (Komatsu), Grupo Bonanza (Mitsubishi, Fuso), Pintura LANCO, Plástico Comercial, Tecnimetro, PANEDOM, CYPE Dominicana, Agrimensores RD, Seguros SURA, Marisol Lama & Asociados, Arquitecto Richard Moreta, among other training providers.
He added that the activity will be a great opportunity to stay up-to-date on trends in the field.
