Miguel Vásquez: “Quality distinguishes a good broker”

SANTO DOMINGO – For Miguel Vásquez, quality is undoubtedly the most distinguishing characteristic of a real estate agent today. According to the RE/MAX Capital associate, beyond presenting attractive projects, the broker must offer personal, attentive, and supportive guidance throughout the entire process.

We reproduce in full the interview conducted with this real estate businessman, published in edition 14 of El Inmobiliario print.

Profile

Vásquez is a real estate broker associated with RE/MAX Capital, with experience advising clients on buying, selling, and investing in properties. His career has focused on guiding clients in making strategic decisions within the Dominican market, promoting informed investments and long-term wealth growth opportunities in the real estate sector.

How did you get started in the real estate sector?

My beginnings in the real estate field were motivated by my father, who had been involved in the business since the 2000s. He introduced us to the world of buying and selling properties, making us understand the importance of investments and capital growth.

How has your vision of the business changed?

The vision of the real estate business has evolved alongside the market. Previously, clients had little information on how to invest in real estate; today, they have greater access to data, digital resources, and even artificial intelligence, which demands more precise and strategic advice in this technological age.

What distinguishes a good broker today?

Quality, without a doubt. We shouldn't just present beautiful projects or use well-written language in our publications, but also offer genuine human connection when working with each person individually. This makes all the difference. Personalized support to help each client achieve their dreams, whether personal or financial.

How do you evaluate a real estate investment?

In a real estate investment, we must take into account the projected growth in the area where we are investing, the quality of the product we are acquiring, the type of business offered by the developer, and, above all, the structure designed based on the future of the product.

What advice would you give to new brokers?

Think about the best service you can provide as a person before considering how much money you can accumulate. Immersive training: learn every strategy you can offer your clients when they invest in their first home or a vacation property.
