PUNTA CANA. Golfers Eloy Núñez and Western Hernández won first place in category C during the first day of the BMCargo Golf Tournament, held at the Corales Golf Course in Punta Cana.
The pair completed the course with a net score of 64, a result that allowed them to take first place and receive their respective trophies during the awards ceremony.
The Tournament is held with the purpose of raising funds for non-profit foundations, combining sports competition with social initiatives.
The competition also extends over three rounds of play and in its latest editions has brought together more than 350 players, establishing itself as one of the sporting events that brings together golf lovers.
During the event, players and guests also participate in various activities, including social gatherings, artistic performances, and raffles.
Núñez and Hernández win in category C
With their performance in the first round, Núñez and Hernández managed to take the lead in their category in the tournament taking place at the Punta Cana golf course.
The duo received the corresponding recognition during the awards ceremony, after completing the course with the result that gave them first place in category C.
