SANTO DOMINGO. The Cibao Association announced that it will participate in the real estate fair "Closer to Home," organized by the Dominican Association of Housing Builders and Developers (ACOPROVI), which will be held from November 6 to 8, 2026 in Madrid, Spain.
The activity is aimed at Dominicans residing in Spain who are interested in acquiring a home in the Dominican Republic and learning about the financing options available in the national market.
The organization's participation comes after it launched a mortgage loan campaign targeting Dominicans residing in the United States. This time, its presence in Madrid will focus on providing information about financing options for purchasing real estate in the Dominican Republic.
In this regard, Mónica Ceballos, Vice President of Personal and SME Business at Asociación Cibao, pointed out that acquiring a home in the Dominican Republic represents for many Dominicans abroad a way to maintain their ties with the country and build a family legacy.
Participating companies and institutions
During the three days of the meeting, representatives from Asociación Cibao will offer information about their financial products and services, as well as the requirements and procedures for accessing mortgage loans in the Dominican Republic.
In addition, they will indicate the official channels available so that those interested can obtain more information and carry out their procedures from abroad.
Furthermore, the fair will feature 31 companies and institutions related to the Dominican real estate and financial market. Participants include 21 construction companies, six real estate developers, and national financial institutions.
The meeting will take place within the framework of Dominican Week in Spain and will have the institutional support of the Ministry of Housing, Habitat and Buildings (MIVHED).
