SANTO DOMINGO.– Asonahores, the Dominican Republic's Hotel and Tourism Association, announced the celebration of its 35th trade show, scheduled to take place from September 6 to 8 at BlueMall Punta Cana.
David Llibre, president, highlighted the importance of fostering meetings of this magnitude for commercial exchange between hotels, restaurants, and suppliers of goods and services that form the value chain of the tourism industry, in its role of promoting the various economic agents it generates.
“This fair fosters production linkages, allows the presentation of innovative proposals, and facilitates interaction among its various participants, both national and international, from the same space,” Llibre stated.
Meanwhile, the executive vice president of Asonahores, Andrés Marranzini Grullón, indicated that the Trade Show is an initiative that the entity has maintained for 35 years to reaffirm its commitment to developing proposals that strengthen and encourage a robust commercial relationship between the productive sectors of the national economy.
“This event is characterized by the opportunity to connect a commercial proposal with a demand from the tourism sector, and given the facilities offered by the four thousand square meters to house more than 360 stands,” states a press release from the entity.
Marranzini explained that they are preparing to surpass the visits received in previous years and continue contributing to the satisfaction of the universe of actors who are present there.
According to information provided by the association, in this new edition, interested companies will be able to present their products and services from an improved press room, where the main media outlets and specialized journalists of the country will meet.
A dynamic agenda of talks, training workshops, press conferences, activities, and awards has also been planned.
