SANTO DOMINGO.- The majority of people in the real estate sector consulted by this media outlet approve of the application of a fourth dose of vaccine to strengthen the immune system against COVID-19, as ordered last Monday by the Ministry of Public Health.
Of the 41 people who were asked yesterday whether they were in favor of the aforementioned dose, via WhatsApp, 63.40% responded that they agreed to receive it, while 36.60% disapproved.

Public Health issued resolution number 000069 on Monday, December 27, 2021, establishing that the COVID-19 vaccination card with three doses will be required in public places from January 31, 2022, and that a fourth optional booster dose will be available for health personnel, pharmacists, people over 60 years of age, and others with special health conditions.
El Inmobiliario sought the opinions of various representatives from the sector to gather their perspectives. Those consulted included engineers, architects, leaders of real estate companies and teams, independent consultants, and representatives of construction companies.
“I agree. I received my fourth dose in the United States three months ago,” said Fermín Acosta of Constructora Crisfer.
The range of opinions went in various directions: “I disagree, I think it is untimely because the vaccines still do not have the efficacy they claimed and this new Omicron strain can infect people even with three doses of the vaccine,” said one of those consulted.
Engineer David de la Cruz believes that "the vaccine has been useless, because with one, two, three or four doses there are no guarantees of escaping the pandemic and no one is taking responsibility for the side effects.".
“I’m okay with ten if necessary to keep us from getting shut down,” responded one agency leader. “Even a fifth if necessary,” said an agent.
Leonel de la Cruz of Hogarium approves of all doses recommended by authorities and experts in the field. “I dedicate myself to studying and training in my area, so I like my clients to take my advice, which is why we should listen to those who have spent years training and have extensive field experience.” He expressed his support for receiving the doses that experts deem necessary and said he doesn't understand why vaccination is questioned when doctors prescribe it, but not when they do.
"What I believe is that both backup cameras should be installed, because only 40% have the second camera and unfortunately only 13% have the backup camera," said the owner of an agency. "Yes, as many as are necessary," said the representative of a company.
"I think it's outrageous to try to force someone to get a vaccine; in my case, I'll stick with the two I have," a team leader emphasized.
"A fourth dose opens the door to others. There's a rumor that the vaccines will reach nine doses. No, I don't agree," an agent replied.
