SANTO DOMINGO.– The Dominican Association of Surveyors (Asodagrim) announced that it will create a virtual platform to offer services to its members and will begin a process of updating the membership registry and admitting new professionals.
They will also set up a surveyor defense unit where legal assistance will be provided.
The president of Asodagrim, Víctor Torres, indicated that his administration is focused on strengthening the association and allowing surveyors to better practice their profession, as well as providing training through workshops and courses, and will soon announce an international congress for the end of this year.
He stated that they have already begun discussions with the board of the Dominican College of Notaries and the president of the National Association of United Bailiffs (ANAU) to sign cooperation agreements, given that both are professionals with whom surveyors work, so that they can collaborate jointly and create a directory of these professionals.
He highlighted that they signed a cooperation agreement with the Pedro Henríquez Ureña National University (UNPHU), through which they seek to strengthen and consolidate their traditional ties of cooperation, train professionals and technicians at a higher level and facilitate educational and scientific actions
He highlighted that Asodagrim has had its corporate office since last June, considered the "Home of the Surveyor" and which is open to all surveying professionals.
