The Reunidos 2026 convention featured a lineup of prominent speakers in various formats, enabling around 600 agents to strengthen their knowledge in diverse areas
SANTO DOMINGO – RE/MAX Dominican Republic announced that it will begin implementing a new technological platform designed for real estate networks on June 1, 2026. This was announced by Tony Ramos, general manager of the franchise, during the Reunidos 2026 convention, held yesterday at the Catalonia Hotel with the attendance of approximately 600 real estate agents. Ramos explained that this is the most significant innovation the brand has undergone since beginning operations in the country.
The executive explained that the platform will have comprehensive management capabilities for agent operations, franchises, and central administration. The detailed presentation was given by the development team during the same event.
By August, the organization will complete the second phase of its digital transformation with the implementation of CRM (customer relationship management system) and ACM (activity management and performance metrics tool) across the entire network.
"Champions don't navigate by intuition. They navigate with GPS. Starting this year, so will we," Ramos summarized to the attendees.
Specialized training and certifications
One of the announcements made during the event was the creation of RE/MAX Academy, a training program that will serve as the foundation for developing the brand's culture in the country. The academy will offer specialized certifications in high-value segments.
"The Dominican market is maturing. Clients are more demanding and projects are more complex. An agent who wants to stand out needs specific, validated, and recognized knowledge," the executive stated.
New business alliances
During the convention, brand executives also explained a new business partnership model designed to generate additional income for network agents, beyond traditional commissions.
Among the agreements mentioned are alliances with banking entities and the incorporation of SURA as a strategic partner for the marketing of a rental insurance policy.
Network growth
The opening ceremony was led by Mélido Marte and Luis Piantini, owners of the master franchisee of the franchise in the Dominican Republic, who reviewed the growth of the network, which currently has 29 active franchises, 590 agents, more than 5,000 transactions registered in the year and a presence throughout the national territory.
"The market no longer rewards only those who work the hardest. It rewards those who evolve," Piantini pointed out, adding that "the best agents of the future will be those who are best connected, best prepared, and best structured.".
Marte, for his part, appealed to the philosophy that distinguishes the brand: "RE/MAX is not a company. It's a way of life. Here, nobody waits for permission to grow.".

Personal brand and career path in the sector
The communicator Pamela Sued gave a conference on personal and professional image, in which she stated that it is built from four elements: how a person looks, how they speak, how they behave and how they make others feel.
He also pointed out that factors such as punctuality, posture, presence, and attitude also play a role in the workplace.
During the event, several members of the real estate network were also recognized. Raysa Jiminian received an award for her more than 20 years of service, excellence, and commitment to the sector.
Similarly, Banco Popular Dominicano awarded three agents from its network. Marisely Melo, from RE/MAX Home Group, took third place with a RD$50,000 shopping voucher; Martha Lebrón, from RE/MAX Metropolitana, received second place with RD$75,000; while Winston Mueses and Paola Rodríguez, also from RE/MAX Metropolitana, achieved first place with a prize of RD$100,000.
