SANTO DOMINGO. – Tomorrow, Sunday, August 17, from 7:00 am to 11:00 am, a temporary lane reduction will be implemented at the painted intersection , located at the intersection of Isabel Aguiar Avenue and February 27th, where expansion work is being carried out, the Ministry of Public Works and Communications (MOPC) reported this Saturday .
The institution explained that one lane in each direction will be available to traffic, and that the extension of February 27th in the West-East direction will also be closed due to engineering work.
According to the entity, the work will allow the lifting of beams for the overpass and the bridge that are part of this ongoing project, which is a key step to expedite the completion of the project, which, it indicates, will transform mobility in this strategic area of the capital.
The Ministry of Public Works and Communications urged drivers to plan their journeys, use alternative routes, and cooperate with authorities in traffic management, with the aim of minimizing delays and maintaining user comfort.
