SANTO DOMINGO.- Playa Nueva Romana successfully celebrated the first edition of Volley Fest, an event that brought together beach volleyball lovers in a day full of adrenaline and activities for athletes, residents and visitors.
The beach and its views of the Caribbean Sea of the residential area served as the setting for the hard-fought competitions held between 9 teams from different clubs in the country, where residents and visitors witnessed the high sporting quality of the players.
In the men's category, the teams Playa Nueva Romana, La Yuca, and Club Naco took first, second, and third place in the competition, while in the women's league, Body Shop, Playa Nueva Romana, and Club Naco positioned themselves as the three winners, in a day full of fun, exquisite gastronomy, live music, and children's games, among other activities for the whole family.
