Cruise On Land obtains license for the World Trade Center Punta Cana; highlights progress of the tourism and real estate project

SANTO DOMINGO.- Cruise On Land announced that it has received the official license to develop the World Trade Center Punta Cana, an authorization granted by the World Trade Centers Association (WTCA), which will allow the Dominican tourist destination to be incorporated into an international network present in more than 330 cities and nearly 100 countries.

The announcement marks a new component within the development that the company is carrying out in Punta Cana, where in addition to the areas linked to hospitality and entertainment, the construction of condo-hotels, internal infrastructure and spaces intended to form a mixed-use project is progressing.

The license was awarded during the WTCA Global Business Forum 2026, held in Philadelphia, USA, and represents the incorporation of Punta Cana into a global platform aimed at connecting companies, investors and organizations interested in generating business opportunities.

A new business component for Punta Cana

The arrival of the World Trade Center Punta Cana seeks to add a business dimension to a destination traditionally recognized for its tourism activity.

The World Trade Centers are part of an international network that promotes trade connections, business meetings and spaces to facilitate business between different markets.

According to Cruise On Land, this integration will strengthen the project's international projection and generate new opportunities for collaboration between national and foreign companies.

Construction is progressing on various fronts of the project

The granting of this license comes as Cruise On Land reports progress in the execution of its Master Plan, which includes residential, hotel, recreational and commercial components.

According to information provided by the company, condohotels 1 and 2 show progress in structure, finishes, electrical and plumbing installations, windows, painting and internal urban planning.

In addition, work continues on internal roads, high and medium voltage electrical networks, water and sanitation systems and service platforms that will support the next construction stages.

The company also reported that the corresponding adjustments to buildings 3 and 4 are progressing, as part of the progressive development of the project.

Punta Cana adds new development models

The project is part of a growth context in Punta Cana, where increased tourism activity has driven new investments related to infrastructure, accommodation, commerce and real estate developments.

Cruise On Land stated that its proposal seeks to combine components of tourism, hospitality, entertainment, and real estate within the same ecosystem.

As part of this vision, the company also reported on partnerships with international organizations linked to entertainment and theme parks, as well as its participation in international real estate investment spaces.

The Other Side gains prominence within the growth of the East

The development is also linked to the growth of La Otra Banda, an area that has begun to attract real estate and tourism projects in response to the expansion of Punta Cana.

Among the infrastructure projects highlighted by the company is the La Otra Banda Punta Cana Tourist Boulevard, a road that seeks to improve the connection between new developments, the Punta Cana International Airport and other strategic points in the East Zone.

Cruise On Land also indicated that it participates as a founding member of the Association of Real Estate Developers of La Otra Banda Punta Cana (ADITOP), created with the objective of promoting coordinated territorial planning.
