SANTO DOMINGO.– The successors of the Association of Professional Women in Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MUPYMECON) for the 2024-2026 period have been appointed, reaffirming the commitment of that entity to the search for job opportunities for professional women in the area and the defense of its general vision.
The new president of the organization is the architect Erminda Decena, who in her speech referred enthusiastically to the upcoming projects, while reaffirming her commitment to the growth and development of the association.

"MUPYMECON aims to be a pillar of innovation and support for professional women and micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in the construction sector, providing training opportunities and fostering strategic alliances," Decena said.
She called on the government to prioritize increasing the participation of women in public works, applying to the construction sector the incentives that are applied to other sectors.
The new board of directors will also include Surelis Calderón as first vice president; Katia Martínez, executive vice president; Sonia Merán as vice president of Finance; Roxanna Brito, vice president of Training; Esther Morillo as vice president of Communication and Events; and Joselin Rodríguez as vice president of Interinstitutional Relations.
At the board of directors handover ceremony, the members of the San Juan de la Maguana branch were also sworn in, with Clarivel Adames as president, accompanied by María del Cristo as secretary, Yokasta Valenzuela as treasurer and Rosa Mateo and María Isabel Sánchez as members.
The incoming supervisory commission will be made up of engineers Ana Maritza Marmolejos, Flor Vitalina Selmo, and Mercedes Brito, as full members, and Albania Santana, Maritza Adonis, and Gertrudys Díaz, as alternates.
