One of the pillars of this strategy is the relationship with travel agents, considered key allies for marketing the Dominican Republic's tourism offerings abroad.
In that regard, the Ministry of Tourism reported that more than 35,000 agents are registered on its DO Travel Rewards platform, a tool that facilitates knowledge of the country's attractions and services and encourages their marketing in international markets.
The institution combines this platform with face-to-face meetings and other initiatives to maintain contact with its business partners and diversify the markets that send visitors.
