SANTO DOMINGO-The Ministry of Labor announced yesterday that it will hold a job fair for the tourist destination of Las Terrenas, Samaná, with more than 100 vacancies available for various trades.
Those interested in participating should come tomorrow, Thursday the 22nd and Friday the 23rd of this month of May 2025, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., to the Bible Temple on Juan Pablo Duarte Street number 110, where the activity will take place.
"This recruitment drive has 117 vacancies for the following positions: signage and supply management assistant, meat assistant, customer service assistant, deli assistant; fruit and vegetable assistant, bakery and pastry assistant, merchandise receiving assistant, store stocking assistant," says the press release from the government entity.
It also offers security-related positions, such as store security and prevention officer, and CCTV operator. Other openings include gondola and display integrity coordinator, store maintenance manager, customer service leader, junior center store leader, junior fresh produce leader, store PCP leader, junior customer service leader, and merchandise receiving leader.
The Ministry of Labor explains that, in its role as intermediary for companies that need to fill their vacancies, the recruitment process depends on each company and some of them take a little longer, due to the nature of their vacancies.
