These alternatives allow interested parties to choose the most convenient reception mechanism for submitting their documents and tracking the registration process
SANTO DOMINGO.– Creditors who have lost or had their creditor registration certificate can request a new document from the Real Estate Registry through a process that includes the required documentation, fees, and various methods available to carry out this procedure.
In accordance with the institution's provisions, applicants must submit a sworn statement through an authentic act, in certified copy, signed by the creditor, stating the loss or deterioration of the document, as well as indicating if any operation has been carried out with said certification.
Similarly, it will be necessary to submit a duly motivated request, a publication in a newspaper of wide national circulation that notifies the loss or destruction of the document, certified by the corresponding media outlet, in addition to the identifications of the parties involved.
In the case of legal entities, they must also include the National Taxpayer Registry (RNC), the current commercial registry and the instruments that accredit the powers of representation of the entity, among other requirements, as appropriate.
Rates corresponding to the service
Regarding the established fees, the first request for a lost or destroyed certificate costs RD$4,000.00 per certificate. For subsequent requests, the fee is RD$6,500.00.
These amounts could be supplemented by other expenses for notary services, legal obligations and remote deposit, depending on the chosen method and the specifics of the case.
Available channels for managing
On the other hand, users can process this request in person at the offices of the Registry of Titles, through the Virtual Office of the Real Estate Registry or through the unattended and remote deposit services.
These alternatives allow interested parties to choose the most convenient reception mechanism for submitting their documents and monitoring the registration process.
Regarding the resolution period, the entity allows thirty (30) business days to address the request. However, this period may vary depending on the date of the promise granted at the time the service was requested.
Continuity of registered rights
Through this mechanism, beneficiaries have a formal alternative to obtain a new copy of the certificate, preserving the documentary support of the same real right previously registered, when the original title has disappeared or become unusable.
