“The New Wonders of the Caribbean”, a new success that Noval Properties adds to its open houses

PUNTA CANA, LA ALTAGRACIA PROVINCE.- At 11:00 am, Irvin Alberti, Dominican comedian and actor, appeared on the large stage prepared for the occasion, announcing the official launch of “The New Wonders of the Caribbean,” the 2024 edition open house, a traditional business event held annually by the developer Noval Properties, to give real estate agents and clients the opportunity to experience in one place the wide variety of properties offered by this development firm, which has been in the national market for over 20 years.

“Good morning. Today we're going to break records. We have a prize for first and second place for whoever achieves the highest sales. We'll have a spectacular closing event, just as you deserve, at these new Wonders of the Caribbean, with our team from Noval who have put on an impressive, awesome, and super cool open house,” Alberti commented.

Guests began arriving early in the morning, while various stations were set up along the pool and surrounding areas of the Cana Bay Beach Club, where the meeting took place, bringing together a large number of leaders from the country's main real estate firms and international representatives from Cuba, the United States, Canada, Chile, Peru, Puerto Rico, and Colombia.

“You basically have a country that’s an ally if your intention is to monetize your property. Additionally, you have Punta Cana Airport, which is one of the best connected in the Caribbean, and of course, the beaches we have here, this paradise where we all find ourselves today. That’s why we’ve selected this location so you can experience firsthand the natural beauty we have and the wonderful climate we enjoy,” explained Lorena Sevilla, Commercial Director of Noval Properties in the eastern region.

He said that until he landed in Punta Cana, he believed that his country, Ecuador, had the best climate, a perception that changed upon arriving in the Dominican Republic.

He explained that the combination of ease and convenience is attractive to investors. “You can have a direct flight to more than 96 cities worldwide. You can come to Punta Cana on a Thursday and leave on Sunday, because you don't have to make a stopover, and connectivity is growing every day.”.

For her part, Lissette Rosario, Director of International Development, highlighted that the presence of international guests is to allow them to experience what it is like to buy and invest in the Dominican Republic, especially through a prestigious firm like Noval Properties.

More than 60 vendors

Throughout the day and evening, numerous real estate agents brought their clients to the developer's offices to have the details of the projects explained to them. Whether enjoying the stunning Caribbean paradise right next to the beach or relaxing in comfortable offices, more than 60 real estate advisors showcased the charms and benefits of Noval Properties' exquisite projects to both in-person and virtual clients. On Saturday, Noval Properties offered properties where buyers could save up to US$26,000.

Upon arrival, a female hostess greeted the guests, who then proceeded to a registration table where they received a gift consisting of a bag and a hand fan. From there, they moved to the reception area, where they found a vast array of refreshment stations designed to delight their palates and combat the high temperatures. From chilled coconuts and tropical drinks to cocktails, iced drinks, coffee, and soft drinks, among many other options, these were among the amenities set up to alleviate the heat of the radiant sun characteristic of Quisqueya La Bella (the Dominican Republic).

An investment party with human quality

Yahaira Batista, Commercial Director for Santo Domingo, described the event as an investment extravaganza that Noval Properties is preparing for its real estate agents and clients. “Noval has no competition. What sets Noval apart is its track record. We are a company with 21 years of experience, fulfilling people's dreams of investing in prime locations, offering high-quality products, excellent finishes, and managed by internationally renowned hotel chains. And, of course, we have the best sales team in the Dominican Republic and the Caribbean,” the executive stated.

For her part, Iris Espinal, commercial director for the Northern region, emphasized that one element that makes Noval Properties unique is the service and the human touch they offer their clients and real estate advisors. “We have offices in Cap Cana, Bávaro, Cana Bay, Las Terrenas, two in Santo Domingo, and soon in Puerto Plata and Jarabacoa.”.

He pointed out that no construction company has a network of offices distributed throughout the country to offer customer service, ensuring comfort and peace of mind when conducting real estate transactions. “There are construction companies that sell apartments; we change the client's life. We sell a lifestyle, the art of living,” Espinal noted.

Yahaira Batista added to what Iris Espinal had said, the internationalization process that the brand is going through, through which it has already opened an office in Colombia.

Goal achieved

Lorena Sevilla explained that the goal set for the day exceeded expectations. "Sales are exceeding expectations and the goal we had, meaning they are within what we expected today, which was US$30 million.".

When asked about the presence of various foreigners in the business, he stated that 50% of Noval Properties' sales correspond to foreign investment. "I can tell you that 50% of the transactions are with a foreign market and another 50% with a local market or Dominicans living abroad, who acquire the property to enjoy and then rent it out when they no longer need it.".

The open house "The New Wonders of the Caribbean by Noval Properties" concluded with a lively dance party to the rhythm of Pochy Familia.
