SANTO DOMINGO- The Minister of Public Works and Communications, Deligne Ascención Burgos, has the assistance in his office of 15 advisors, who earn average salaries equivalent to 165 thousand pesos per month, for a total expense that each month amounts to RD$2,470,000.00.

Leading the list of advisors are former deputy ministers of that institution, Nelson Rafael Colón Arache and, for the Southern region, José del Carmen Montero Arias. Each was appointed by Executive Decrees No. 220-22 and No. 413-20 and receives a gross income of RD$220,000.00.
Following them on the list, in descending order of total income, are Nelson Gabriel Maloney Salomón, who earns RD$200,000.00 per month; Josefina Mireya Espinal Perdomo, Joaquín Diaz Ortega, Claudia Rosa Basilis Castillo, and Eddy Leonardo Terrero Fermín. These last four advisors each earn a monthly salary of RD$175,000.00.
Espinal Perdomo was granted a pension through Decree No. 653-04, dated July 14, 2004, with a pension amounting to RD$41,600.00 and subsequently, through the approval of a law, on June 7, 2017, she achieved an increase in those incomes to the sum of RD$55,000.00.
Next on the list of advisors are Ricardo Peña Acevedo, who earns RD$160,000.00 each month; Rosa Judith de Peña de la Rosa, Alberto Canahuate González and Yune Salvador Khoury Figuereo, each with a salary of RD$150,000.00.
In addition, Aquiles Anthony Reynoso Henríquez, Ángel de Jesús López Rodríguez and Raúl Bartolomé Reynoso, who each earn the sum of RD$100,000.00 per month.
