SANTO DOMINGO.- President Luis Abinader issued Decree 442-24 yesterday, August 15, confirming important appointments in the country's financial sector.
A press release from the Presidency of the Republic states that the ratifications seek to ensure the continuity and stability of key institutions in the Dominican banking system.
In the decree, Héctor Valdez Albizu was confirmed as governor of the Central Bank of the Dominican Republic, a position he has held for 20 uninterrupted years. Clarissa de la Rocha was also ratified as vice governor of the institution.
