MADRID, SPAIN.– The Dominican Republic won the award for best stand again this year at the FITUR 2025 tourism fair, which is being held in Madrid, Spain, and will run until this Sunday.
“The Dominican Republic shone once again here at FITUR by winning the award for best stand at this international tourism fair,” said Collado.
The Minister of Tourism received the award scroll from Sofia Alonso, a member of the jury, and Angela Lozano, a member of the fair's organizing team.

After handing over the scroll, in a ceremony held at the Dominican stand, both highlighted how "impressive" it was, where the beauty of the Dominican Republic can be appreciated through technology.
Collado expressed his gratitude for the honor and noted that the stand showcases a sample of what the Dominican Republic offers as a tourist destination.
“We did it again. The Dominican Republic shines brightly by receiving the award for best stand at FITUR 2025,” the official stated.
