SANTO DOMINGO.- The Ministry of Housing and Buildings (Mivhed) delivered the renovated karate pavilion of the Félix Sánchez Olympic Center, as part of the work to adapt sports infrastructure for the XXV Central American and Caribbean Games Santo Domingo 2026.

He emphasized that, “when an athlete enters a space like this, they feel that their effort is worthwhile. They feel that their discipline has support. And that also translates into results.”.

For his part, the Minister of Sports, Kelvin Cruz, pointed out that this pavilion is part of a series of recent deliveries of sports facilities, intended to guarantee adequate conditions for the preparation and participation of athletes.

Likewise, the president of the Organizing Committee of the Central American and Caribbean Games, José P. Monegro, indicated that this edition will have a wide participation of athletes and disciplines.
