Why do you work in real estate?
I found my passion in the real estate world. Everything I studied, including marketing, and my previous work experience combined to create a set of skills that made me love this business. I enjoy providing excellent service to clients and the agents we collaborate with, and creating and standardizing processes in an industry that is often quite informal.
How do you feel when you sell a home?
The relationship with investors is based on trust and a deep understanding of their needs. It's incredibly satisfying to see the property completed after two or three years, when the client can finally enjoy it and/or rent it out to generate a return on their investment. And the pride is even greater when the property is rented out and begins to generate income.
How does your work contribute to the sector?
I'm particularly passionate about the real estate sector, and my way of contributing is by helping other agents succeed. I provide training and courses for other real estate brokers. My belief has always been that if other agents do well, I'll do well too, because we raise the bar for the industry, and it's generally an industry where many negotiations are done collaboratively.
What are the current challenges of the profession?
Currently, one of the main challenges in the real estate industry is the lack of training and formalization. Many professionals enter the market without adequate training because there are no standards or regulations, resulting in a deficient sector with significant room for improvement. It is urgently necessary to regulate the sector to enhance the experience and satisfaction of clients and all stakeholders.
