SANTO DOMINGO – The Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD) announced a new offering of online diploma programs specifically designed for Dominicans living abroad. The initiative will be coordinated by the UASD New York office in conjunction with the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences, through its Continuing Education Unit.
The goal is to facilitate access to up-to-date professional training regardless of geographic location, enabling Dominicans in the United States, Europe, and other regions to strengthen their skills in key areas such as commerce, management, and digital marketing. All classes will be taught in real time and will include supporting materials to ensure a comprehensive educational experience.
Available programs, schedules and duration
The new academic offering includes three diplomas designed to adapt to the work routine of those living abroad:
- Diploma in Foreign Trade and Customs Operations: It will be taught on Sundays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. , with a total duration of 80 hours.
- Diploma in Senior Management: will also be held on Sundays at the same time, with 64 hours of training.
- Diploma in Business Strategies and Digital Marketing: will take place on Saturdays from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm , to complete 60 academic hours.
The content has been structured to offer practical tools that can be applied immediately in the professional environment, especially in areas related to the business world.

The diploma programs will be offered entirely online , allowing participants to join from any country without travel. Each program will award a certificate of participation endorsed by UASD, the oldest university in the Americas.
