SANTO DOMINGO.- October arrived with a busy schedule of activities for the construction and real estate sectors, with its calendar for the last stretch of the year, launching its activities to continue strengthening the work of the industry.
Meetings to analyze the current state of the construction sector, training courses for new agents, exhibitions on construction materials, products and services, activities with investors, real estate tourism and presentations by experts on topics related to the area, are part of the varied menu for October 2023.
National Housing Board
This coming Thursday, October 12th, the Association of Housing Builders and Promoters (ACOPROVI) will hold its 8th National Housing Roundtable, an event that will bring together a large group of professionals linked to the construction field, who will speak on the various issues that concern the sector.
The event will take place in the Grand Ballroom of the JM Marriott Hotel in Santo Domingo, starting at 8:30 a.m., and the presence of President Luis Abinader is expected.
CBR01 AEI
The Association of Real Estate Agents and Companies (AEI) announces its last CBR01 of the year, which will be held from the 16th to the 20th of this month, in virtual mode, for new agents who wish to start their career with the basic tools.
The training program consists of 20 hours of classes taught by several professionals with extensive experience in the sector, who instruct participants on the knowledge they need to get started in the trade.
Santiago Steel Expo
From the 20th to the 22nd, at the UTESA Convention Center, Santiago de los Caballeros, the first edition of Expo Acero will be held, an event aimed at the construction sector focused on metal structures in the Dominican Republic.
This event is part of the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) Steel Days celebration. It is organized by OptimoSTD Steel Detailing and the Dominican Institute of Metal Structure Construction (IDCEM), in coordination with the host organization.
Construmedia
Also from the 20th to the 22nd, Construmedia will hold its traditional real estate fair, showcasing products and services related to the construction industry. This year's edition will take place at the Dominican Fiesta Hotel in the Dominican capital.
Investors Club
Also, on the 21st, 23rd, and 25th, BC Real Estate will hold its Investors Club in Colombia, an event designed to attract Colombian investors looking to invest abroad. The event will take place in Medellín, Barranquilla, and Bogotá.
Real Estate Tourism
The Dominican Association of Tourism and Real Estate Companies (ADETI) will hold a forum on the “Economic and Legal Impact of Real Estate Tourism” next Tuesday the 24th at 8:00 AM. The meeting will take place in the Piantini Room of the JM Marriott, Santo Domingo.
Master Agent
Those who wish to differentiate themselves and enhance their careers as real estate advisors have the opportunity to do so through the "Master Real Estate Agent" workshop, a comprehensive training program in legal, surveying, and sales areas offered by three experts. It will be held virtually on October 28th.
It will be facilitated by Reyna Echenique, attorney, realtor, and real estate coach; Luz del Alba Rodríguez, attorney and expert in Real Estate Law; and Francisco Alberto Suárez Sánchez, surveyor. The scheduled time is from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
